Cascadian Raspberry Martini

Ingredients

½ pint fresh raspberries (reserving a few to freeze, if desired)

2 tablespoons Cascadian Wild Raspberry Balsamic Vinegar

2 tablespoons sugar

2 tablespoons water

4 ounces of raspberry vodka

2 ounces Triple Sec (or orange flavored liqueur)

1 lime, juiced


Gently rinse and let raspberries air dry.  Place a few in the freezer to garnish drink, if desired.  

In a small saucepan over medium heat combine Cascadian Wild Raspberry Balsamic Vinegar, sugar, and water.    Remove from heat once sugar is dissolved; cool completely. 

Place raspberries and sugar mixture in a blender or food processor and process until completely blended.  Strain mixture to remove the seeds. 

Add raspberry puree, vodka, Triple Sec, lime juice, and a handful of ice to a martini shaker.  Shake well.  Divide evenly among 2 martini glasses.  Garnish with frozen raspberries.  Enjoy!!
